Hello District 4,

I hope that all have had a restful summer and are ready to start back to work. I know that some school systems have had to make some unpopular decisions regarding Teacher Assistants employed in their systems. There will be a meeting of District 4 Executive Board and County Presidents on Saturday August 20, 2011 at Sammio's Restuarant in Hope Mills, N.C. The meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. I look forward to seeing all County Presidents and the Executive Board at this meeting. Plans are still be made for District 4 Mini-Conference, as soon as this information is complete, it will be distributed to your County President so they can get it to you. Once again let us have a wonderful SCHOOL YEAR and I also want to thank you for all that you do for the STUDENTS of North Carolina.
