Welcome Back! I hope you enjoyed your summer vacation! I am very excited about this year as we prepare for a new and exciting year of serving the schools and the children. The goal this year is 100% participation, and 100% membership, both
at the local and state level. We can achieve this with the support of local presidents, and state officers. District 6 had their meeting of newly elected officers on July 13, 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Below are the plans and goals for the new school year:
• Increase membership
• Our 22nd annual Motivational Rally will be held on Saturday October 15, 2011. Two workshops will be presented at this time that will also allow you to earn credits toward your P.D.P.
• Two fundraisers are scheduled to assist/add to our scholarship fund.
• There are plans for a Christmas fellowship.
I am excited to serve as the new District 6 President, and even more excited to be working with each of you! It's going to be a fantastic year!
